The Society which covers seven local villages
including Great Chesterford, holds meetings on the first Wednesday of the month,
except in January and August. The meetings are held in the Chapel, Carmel
Street, Great Chesterford at 8pm. In the
summer trips are made to interesting gardens in the vicinity and in July each
year one of the villages is chosen by rotation for a Garden Walkabout. A flower
Show is held in September every other year and in the intervening year there is
a “mini” flower show in July or September. Discounts arranged for members
through national and local suppliers. New members (including novice gardeners)
and visitors always welcome.
