| HANLEY GRANGE ECO TOWN PROPOSAL |
It is now known that Hanley Grange is on the short list for development as an Eco Town. The site would accommodate 8000 homes on 500 ha land adjacent to the A1301, stretching from Stump Cross to the McDonalds roundabout. |

If this development is permitted it would have a significant effect on the area and residents are encouraged to consider the proposal and respond to the consultation which runs until the 30 June 2008.
The Parish Council has joined with other
representatives across the area to form a campaign group to fight
the proposal and there is a
Stop Hanley Grange website for further information. |
